The Burt Township Planning Commission has released a draft of the proposed Burt Township 5-year Recreation Plan. The plan is available for public review for the next 30 days. The draft plan can be viewed at:

The Burt Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on December 18, 2025 at 6:00 PM to receive public comments on the proposed Five-Year Community Recreation Plan. The public hearing is being held in accordance with the requirements of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) for communities seeking grant eligibility under the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund, Land and Water Conservation Fund, and other recreation grant programs.
After receiving comments, the commission will discuss the comments received and may adopt the recreation plan at this meeting.
